There was an article in the newspaper today that described an alarming increase in LGBTQ hate since Club Q was targeted by a self-declared non-binary man. 1 The reporter didn’t detail the hate but did mention as an example that a gay man was falsely accused by Elon Musk on Twitter of being a groomer. I don’t know what happened there, but I can say that this is where the forced-teaming of TQ with LGB can engenders confusing reporting. The reading public is being misled to believe that the entire “comnunity” implied in LGBTQ is under attack from a right-wing perspective, and that does not tell the whole tale. Gays and lesbians are under attack from transgender activists who are pissed off that they are not validated for sexual relationships. Women are under attack physically as well as verbally through online outlets.
Here’s an example of one such attack, in Belgium, according to Reduxx:
Trans activists disrupted a small child safeguarding event in Brussels, Belgium this past week, throwing cow feces in protest of the speakers holding views critical of gender ideology.
On December 15, child psychiatrist Caroline Eliacheff and professor Céline Masson held a talk at Café Laïque to discuss their latest gender critical publication. The two speakers read from their research, titled “La Fabrique de l’enfant transgenre,” roughly translated as “The Transgender Child Factory,” which expressed concerns over the “psychological conditioning” of youth claiming to be transgender.
But not long after the event had started, trans activists showed up to disrupt the talk.
Usually these attacks are justified in the name of protesting hate, but they are meant to stifle discussion and intimidate women who speak out about issues of safeguarding. In preventing the showing if a movie “Adult Human Female,” transactivists in Edinburgh blocked two venues in one night, and assaulted with gobs women who were trying to get past them into the hall.
There are countless other examples, including in Oakland, California. Women were silently protesting the sentencing of a man who has identified as a woman. He killed a lesbian couple and their child, and the Womens’ Declaration International was protesting the possibility that he could serve his time in a women’s prison because of changes in California law. Some men cowards in black and masks attacked them physically and stole their signs, followed by a sign-burning ceremony.
“Literal violence,” 2for example misgendering, has long been defended as a justification for threats of real violence on the grounds that violent men listen to feminists who don’t accept that transwomen are women and feel justified in attacking and killing trans ID males because of it.
My original intent for this post was to share a gallery of images I have collected that display the words and pictures containing threats against women for objecting to transgender ideology. So, here goes.
Transgender activists refer to the abuse of a power dynamic as being actual violence, which is why they use the term “literal violence” when referring to people who do not validate man as women. But, as we can see, the power dynamic remains the same. Men have social and phyiscal power over women, and the links I share and the images I post display that dynamic.
We need to keep talking about this, so it finally dawns on the people who read that LGBTQ hate is on the rise, as the message finally breaks through and people connect the dots. Violence and threats of violence against women is not a progressive value, even from men who claim to be women.
It’s a recurring theme, and the article is paywalled so I am not sharing it. Comment if you think I need to in order to make my point.
